@modulux I know! I was thinking the same thing! It's at least been two years of video conferencing being common. I don't get why some people don't understand how it works.
I try to make my sound be as high quality/low noise as possible, Instead of the headset that work has provided, I'm using an XLR Lavalier microphone. I just don't understand how some people don't get that background noise in a meeting is extremely annoying.
Today, a guy in my meeting was using the laptop's speakers/mic.
Even though the company has sent him a headset, he doesn't mute himself whilst not talking and it's very annoying as there is feedback whenever the meeting host speaks.
If he does it again tomorrow, I think I will have to point it out 😓
