Is there any graphical friendly backup software for Linux similar to Time Machine? I asked this before, but I can't remember the responses.
I basically want something that knows when it is connected to my home network, and do the backup to my NAS instead of trying to backup when I'm somewhere else, and my NAS isn't available.
Do not know if there is a GUI solution for this, but running borgbackup with a hook from the network manager when you connect to your home wifi could do the trick.
@anonimno Ohhh I didn't think about using NetworkManger hooks to trigger backups! That's a good idea! I'll look into that. Thank you!
@anonimno Yep, I've used NetworkManager hooks before for setting up various network interface configuration options, but I completely forgot that I could use it to trigger other things as well if I wanted.
