Weekend Project: Switch my Home-Automation MQTT server from ActiveMQ running in a plain docker instance, to mosquitto running in my Kubernetes cluster

@gabek nothing too interesting at the moment. I have some light bulbs, and smart plugs and I use home assistant to control them. I know I can do more, but to be honest I'm not as creative as some of the people I have seen on the home assistant forums 😅 I don't know how they think of some of their automations.

@mhamzahkhan I currently have a simple setup myself with Philips Hue + Couple switches + Amazon Echo + Apple HomeKit but I’m looking at replacing any of that propriety stuff with OpenHab. But I don’t know if it’s worth it with how little stuff I have. I installed OpenHab, but that’s as far as I got.

@gabek I have a Phillips Hue as well, but strangely only one Hue compatible bulb 😂 the rest are smart plugs with tasmota or espurna flashed onto them. I wanted to use Home Assistant to make a nice dashboard of "home" related things but to be honest I just haven't got around to it

@gabek Similar to OpenHab, but uses yaml files for config instead of interface (home-assistant.io/)
